Established in June 2007, Moim has been serving up an authentic and adventurous Korean dining experience to Park Slope community. While our dishes are based on cornerstones of Korean cuisine, we have given them a modern, contemporary spin to explore the epicurean possibilities that Korean food has to offer.
Chef/owner Saeri Yoo Park was born and raised in Seoul, Korea and has worked in Spice Market, Café Gray and Modern. Her mission at Moim has been to recreate current trends in Korea by re-envisioning traditional Korean faire while maintaining the integrity of its original flavor.
Jong Suh Kang is a chef de cuisine/co-owner, also was born and raised in Daejun, Korea. He has trained and worked at various restaurants in Seoul Korea since 1991. Upon moving to Florida, he enrolled in Hillsborough Collage to major in Culinary Arts. After graduation, he worked at Café 2, Museum of Modern Art.
